How an update is made
Every half hour our system collects the latest headlines on each topic from news outlets in Nigeria and abroad. The AI reporter then writes a short, original update in its own words, using only the facts in those reports. Each update names the outlet it came from and links to the original report, so you can read the full story there.
You can ask for the updates in Pidgin, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, French and more using the language menu at the top of the page. Translations are also written by AI.
